September Dinner Speaker Peter Spreckley

Peter Spreckley, one of the National Directors of the FGBMFI UK&I, came to speak at Salford chapter september dinner meeting.

The President, Stephen Blatch, told a story of a mouse that he had an encounter with on holiday and used it as a parable about secret sins, forgiveness and reconciliation.

Peters testimony followed on with a tale of hidden secrets and forgiveness and reconciliation. What a God we have. The Holy Spirit leads and we do not know where he will blow.

Peter told us of a life that looked well on the outside , a successful solicitor, a church warden, an elder of the church, mowing the parish church lawn whilst paying someone to mow his. And yet he did not have a daily walk with the Lord. He questioned this and knelt down on his living room floor to ask Jesus into his life. After this very strong, powerful, emotional plea for God in his life he was granted his desires. And as we know there isn’t any room for good and bad in the same breath, and Peter’s life began to take a turn for the better. He told us of this journey with the help of the FGBMFI
